19. Security Notes

• All data is local. Nothing leaves the machine unless Federation is explicitly enabled.
• PII detection runs automatically on all incoming data (configurable per category).
• Audit trail logs every store, recall, delete, and config change.
• Post-quantum encryption (Enterprise) uses ML-KEM-768 per NIST FIPS 203.
• EULA acceptance is required before any data collection (including telemetry).
• Telemetry collects only: install status, errors (no user content), OS/version info, anonymous ID. Opt-out: uaml config set telemetry false.
